Delete your saved data
Hold L + R + A + B + X + Y at the Nintendo logo to delete your saved data.

Promise Ring
Ok there is this thing called a Promise Ring. If you find it sell it to the Second hand Shop and you get 1,000.00 dollars! Note: Its very rare.

Walk without waiting 30 minutes!
To do this trick, make sure you have an Asscessory on you. Select which dog you want to walk with. While planning the route for the dog, go through as many[?] blocks as possible. Once you have done that, make your way to the park, then back to your house. When your dog starts the walk, when it gets to the park change the accessory it's wearing into something else. After the game finishes saving, turn off your Nintendo DS. When you reboot you will notice that you have obtained all the items you did in the walk, and you can walk again with the same dog without the wait. Do this for present abuse!

Dog or present?
When walking your dog, if he/she comes upon a ? mark, he/she will bark once, or twice. Most of the time, one bark means a present, two barks means another dog.

Easy trainer points
[warning this cheat will require a lot of time and will requier a charger for your D.S] to gain LOTS of trainer points you need to put your D.S on charge continually for, well as long as you want, you need to have a dog and a brush and put the brush on the dog and leave it there as long as you want. You will gain 1 trainer point every minuite so that is why it takes so long. I got 1400 points in 16 hours.

Dalmation
To get a Dalmation go on a walk and find the Fireman's Hat. You should get it on the way back.

Easy way to find hidden presents
When going on a walk, watch the top screen. When the dog icon stops moving, there is a hidden present coming up shortly. Be cautious, however, as this is also true when garbage is coming up, or your pup simply stops by itself.

Get unlockable breeds easier
Do Bark Mode with a dog in a breed that you don't have. Example: Do Bark Mode with a Shih Tzu and after you do Bark Mode with that dog, you will be able to buy the Shih Tzu breed at the kennel. NOTE: This only works the first time with each different version of the game. So you can do this trick one time with Labrador & Friends, Dachshund & Friends, and any other version of Nintendogs.

Playing with dogs
When you are playing with another dog from the walk you can tell if your dog likes the dog is curious about the dog or if it does not like the dog. If your dog likes the dog a sweet, loving tune would come on if your dog is still curious no music would come on and if your dog does not like the other dog a beat of a drum would come on...

Linking
When linking copies of Nintendogs to unlock new breeds, keep in mind two things. You can only link with another Nintendo DS system once (and unlock a new breed). The breed unlocked corresponds with your partner's current pet, and it must be a breed that you do not have in order for it to be unlocked.

RC helicopter
Go on a walk and you may find an RC helicopter as one of the question marks. Hold A to take off, the D-Pad to maneuver, and L to change the camera view. Note: They can be sold for $200.

Agility training
Go to the gymnasium and train your dog on the agility course. It changes with each contest you win.

Disc contest
Get a Boxer if you want speed. Get a German Shepherd if you want it to jump high.

Blue circles on the map
While on walks, blue circles represent places to go to the bathroom.

Flip from back
Teach your dog roll over and jump. Tell it to roll over then quickly have it jump. It should flip forward onto its legs, with something that resembles a Kung Fu-style move.

Getting money
Go on a lot of walks, getting as many question marks as you can along the way. Then, go to the second hand store and sell all the items you do not want or your dog(s) do not like. Some items are less then a dollar, but the amount adds up if you keep doing this.

Losing contests
In certain classes of contests, if you get below a certain score you will drop a class.

Walking your dog
When walking your dog and it seems edgy, give the leash a little tug towards the way it is walking. The dog will start running. Also, if you want you can give it a tug while running upwards, it will do a jump.

Eating bone and lightbulb
When training your dog occasionally an outline of a bone will appear on the screen, you can feed this to your dog by dragging it to its mouth, you can do the same with the light bulbs that appear above your dogs head when your teaching them new tricks.

Easy Trainer Points
Go to the screen where you can brush your dog. Take the brush and put it on him. Leave it there for a few hours. As long as the brush is on him, you get trainer points for every 1 minute. Leave on overnight and you will have a ton of Trainer Points and most likely a new dog at the kennel!

Eat the training icon
After you have made your dog do a trick with the touch screen stick and you have said the name of the trick you can touch the orange light bulb that comes up then you can drag it around. If you drag it to the dogs mouth it will eat it.

Easier compettions
When your doing a compettions you can exit it by turning off the game. Don't worry. You will still be in the same level as before.

The Beg Trick
If you want your Dog to beg just simply tell it to sit and slowly lift up its belly and then it will beg, it took time with me and in the Obedeiance trials I'm in the Championship!

Combat copter
The combat copter is like the rc helicopter (but harder to find) its the same way to manuevoure but it makes an army tune when flying and sells for $300.

Get rarer prizes?
If you have a lucky collar and a clover clock keep them put the clock on and put the collar on then go for a walk when you are walking and your dog gos to get a gift click B a lot so when your dog comes back you can open the gift and have a rare item!!

Fire mans hat (unlock dalmatian)
If your in your dog's house and you hear a siren, go on a walk with the dog who can walk the longest because more than likely it will be in a corner. Go through as many ? marks as you can and you should find a firemans hat!

Friendly dogs
I Find that Archie's dog spot is very friendly and so isted's dog sammy the toy poodle.

Better presents
Before going on a walk, put the clover clock on and a lucky collar (on the dog going on the walk). This will make you get some better presents.

Disc training
When you are teaching a dog how to use a disc always use the same disc because when you stop using that disc and use another one. All the progress from that disc will be lost.

Santa Hat
When its Christmas also known as December 25, 26 take your dog for a walk and after about the 2nd try you should get a Santa Hat. But you can't get a Santa Hat in January or March etc. Make sure your dog can walk long distances and has alot of stamina before you go for a walk. You need to try to get every question mark there is so that you have a better chance at getting the hat.
