Unlock Jack Russel Terrier
While on a walk, your dog may come across an Item called the Jack Russel Book. If you visit the kennel, you can now buy the single Jack Russel Terrier.

Unlock Dalmatian!
While going on walks go through question marks. After a couple of other presents you will find a firemans hat. You will be able to buy a dalmatian at the dog kennel!

Dalmation
To get a dalmation just communicate with someone who has a dalmation then buy it at the kennel.

Tired of the old rc helicopter? Then check this!
There is a (most likely) 1 of a kind item in the game. It the the combat helicopter!!! It is just like the normal 1 except that it can shoot something that resembles a ping-pong ball. It is really cool and looks like a military helicopter. the downside is that your dogs may hate you if you keep shooting them.

Eat the lightbulb!
When your dog is learning a command, ex:lay down,roll over. A lightbulb icon appears in the top right corner of the screen. Click on the light bulb and record your command. If the dog accepts the command, a sketchy like lightbulb appears over their adorable little head. Grab the lightbulb with your stylus then drag it to the dogs mouth. And they will EAT THE LIGHTBULB like a treat! Note: This was found in the Japanese version. I am not sure about the North American version.

Most Money!!!!! in selling
First, You get 8,000 to 10,000 trainer points. Then, go on a walk and most of the time you may find a metoerite which is worth $150 but if you keep on walking your dog every 25 minutes you'll find a promise ring whick can be sold for $1000.00

Reset data
Hold L + R + A + B + X + Y at the Nintendo logo to delete your saved data.

Walk without waiting 30 minutes!
To do this trick, make sure you have an Asscessory on you. Select which dog you want to walk with. While planning the route for the dog, go through as many[?] blocks as possible. Once you have done that, make your way to the park, then back to your house. When your dog starts the walk, when it gets to the park change the accessory it's wearing into something else. After the game finishes saving, turn off your Nintendo DS. When you reboot you will notice that you have obtained all the items you did in the walk, and you can walk again with the same dog without the wait. Do this for present abuse!

Dog or present?
When walking your dog, if he/she comes upon a ? mark, he/she will bark once, or twice. Most of the time, one bark means a present, two barks means another dog.

Easy way to find hidden presents
When going on a walk, watch the top screen. When the dog icon stops moving, there is a hidden present coming up shortly. Be cautious, however, as this is also true when garbage is coming up, or your pup simply stops by itself.

Get unlockable breeds easier
Do Bark Mode with a dog in a breed that you don't have.Example: Do Bark Mode with a Shih Tzu and after you do Bark Mode with that dog, you will be able to buy the Shih Tzu breed at the kennel. NOTE: This only works the first time with each different version of the game. So you can do this trick one time with Labrador & Friends, Dachshund & Friends, and any other version of Nintendogs.

Linking
When linking copies of Nintendogs to unlock new breeds, keep in mind two things. You can only link with another Nintendo DS system once (and unlock a new breed). The breed unlocked corresponds with your partner's current pet, and it must be a breed that you do not have in order for it to be unlocked.

RC helicopter
Go on a walk and you may find an RC helicopter as one of the question marks. Hold A to take off, the D-Pad to maneuver, and L to change the camera view. Note: They can be sold for $200.

Agility training
Go to the gymnasium and train your dog on the agility course. It changes with each contest you win.

Blue circles on the map
While on walks, blue circles represent places to go to the bathroom.

Longer walks
Mark out the path on your map, ending it at the house. If your last few steps ends at the house, wait 25 minutes, then your dog can go slighter further on the next walk. Note: Make sure to water your dog after each walk.

Different colored Dogs
While at the pound, pick a breed. You will have three choices for the dog's coloring *light, medium, and dark). If you do not see the color you like, tap "Back", then tap on the breed again until the color and/or gender that you want with the dog appears. It may take some time to actually get what you want.

Hand stand
Teach your dog to lie down and beg. While lying down, tell it to beg and your dog should do a handstand.

Flip from back
Teach your dog roll over and jump. Tell it to roll over then quickly have it jump. It should flip forward onto its legs, with something that resembles a Kung Fu-style move.

Getting money
Go on a lot of walks, getting as many question marks as you can along the way. Then, go to the second hand store and sell all the items you do not want or your dog(s) do not like. Some items are less then a dollar, but the amount adds up if you keep doing this.

Get A Different Layout
When deciding your route to take your dog for a walk, you possibly wont like the amount of ? mark boxes laid out. Well, hit the back arrow, and go into walk again. It'll be a layout of the map!

Increase Your Route
If you take your dog for a walk alot, each time you go for a walk you will be able to walk a lot further.

Eat A Light Bulb
Tap the lightbulb icon when it appears. Say the dog's name, then a flashing lightbulb will appear. Drag it to the dog's mouth and he will eat it!

Losing contests
In certain classes of contests, if you get below a certain score you will drop a class.

Walking your dog
When walking your dog and it seems edgy, give the leash a little tug towards the way it is walking. The dog will start running. Also, if you want you can give it a tug while running upwards, it will do a jump.

Lucky Collar
If you puppy gives you a 'Lucky Collar' then let the puppy that gave it to you wear it and you will get better gifts from your dog, and win contest more easily and other cool stuff. DONT SELL IT! YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DO!

Trainer Points
Get trainer points faster by going to the screen that you brush your dog in and but the brush on you dog. You get 1 point every 1 minute! If you leave it on over night then you should turn off the music, so you dont waste the battery and plug it into the charger!

Washroom Stops
When you are out on a walk and you see blue dots, those are washroom stops for your dogs. The smaller one is poo and the bigger one is pee. So dont skip them!

Meanest Dog
When you are on a walk, and you go to a question mark, the meanest dog is Eclair, so get out of there as soon as you can and beware of Coby too! Charlie, and Buster and Logan (when you see him), are nice, and the other dogs are in between. Make sure your dogs is being nice to the other dogs and maybe they will all be nice to you!

Get Other Dogs
If you don't like the dogs on any nintendo dogs game all you have to do is get more points. The points are located at go out, info, trainer info, trainer points, then look at how many points you have, the more, the more breeds of dogs.

Invisi-bone
For this to work, you have to have a good relationship one of your dogs. Keep petting him/her (or pet it while it's doing tricks alot) then a bone will appear. Drag it to the dog's mouth with your stylus(pen)and it will eat it!

Get Cheaper Dog Supplies
If you take your dog for a walk you will see the pet supply store on the map. Well, draw your route to go there. They have cheaper prices than the pet supply store in the menu.

Get A Different Layout
When deciding your route to take your dog for a walk, you possibly wont like the amount of ? mark boxes laid out. Well, hit the back arrow, and go into walk again. It'll be a layout of the map!

Increase Your Route
If you take your dog for a walk a lot, each time you go for a walk you will be able to walk a lot further.

Free gifts
If your on the home screen for too long your dog will leave then click on the wistle button and your dog should come with a present.

Retry the contest
When you do a contest and you want to retry so bad just turn your DS off and on before the guy tells you the scores.

Easy trainer points
Go to where you brush your dog than just leave your brush there and every real minute you should gain 1 trainer point.
Note: You should charge your DS doing this cheat because if you close your DS it won't work.

How To Restart The Game Without Losing Your Items
If you have 2 nintendogs games (or don't mind buying another one) You can easily do this. (NOTE: You can not keep your trainer points or dogs) First, transfer all the items you want to keep from one game to the other through bark mode. Then delete the game that you sent the items from. You now have a new game! Just send over all of the items from the game that you sent them to, to the new game. And that's how you restart you game without losing your items.

If you don't want bottles or sticks or tissues
When you enter your nintendogs game this will work for all of the nintendog games like I was saying when you enter your nintendogs game you go on a walk don't draw your route to any of the blue question marks near your house also if you want to unlock a Jack Russel Terrier wear your lucky collar and go to this date 6/29/10 and there's a chance you will find the book.

Santa hat dog backflip trick
Change your ds or your dsi to this date 12/26/10 and you should find a santa hat when you take your dog on a walk when you get home put it on the dog who found it he/she if your lucky might do backflips.
