Have the Game Boy Advance game Harvest Moon: Friends Of Mineral Town or Harvest Moon: More Friends Of Mineral Town in the cartridge slot. Characters from the corresponding game will now appear in Harvest Moon DS..

The horse
To get the horse you must ship at least 1,000 items. It's very useful to do chores and it is great for traveling around town.

Field upgrades
The different items that you cam use to upgrade your field houses will rot away after different periods of time. The following materials can be used to upgrade:
Grass/Hay: The weakest
Lumber: Average
Stone: Good

Littering
The only place where you can litter is on your field. Anywhere else will cause people to begin disliking you.

33. Jet - Go upstairs in the Inn and you will find Vans crate. Stand on the northern side and press the A button. Jet sets up shop next to Guts

36. Jum - Press the A button while standing at the fountain in front of Romanas Villa. You can then play the Memory Game at the Casino

68. Rainy - Water 10,000 pieces of cropland
69. Red Ribbon - Have a total of 10 cows and sheep on the farm. Needed are 3 barns
70. Reese - Try to fish in the Hot Spring by the goddess pond, will be available after using the first hot spring 100 times
71. Ridge - Place 5,000 items in the shipping bin
72. Riviera - On your farm, cast your fishing pole into the watering hole
73. Rocky - Destroy 15 large rocks
74. Rod - Catch 1,000 fish
75. Roli - Upgrade watering can to Mystrile (level 5) then use it
76. Roller - After the 8th of Spring, walk across the bridge to Vestas Farm. Roller will then set up the Casino in the back of the Harvest Sprites Tree
77. Rosh - Destroy 500 small rocks
78. Sacci - Use the hot spring by the goddess pond 500 times
79. Sammy - Find the cursed fishing pole in the mines and have it blessed
80. Sante - Hire the healing team 1,000 times
81. Saturn - Participate in 3 seasonal festivals

86. Tep - To the left of the Inn is a stove surrounded by a fence, hop the fence. Press the A button in front of the stove. Blackjack will now be available at the Casino
87. Tilus - Destroy 100 small rocks with your hammer
88. Tricky - Catch 50,000 fish
89. Uranus - Befriend a villager to 100 Friendship Point (FP). Do the Show Pet Trick
90. Vail - Ship a pepper. Grows in the fall
91. Valie - Upgrade axe to Mystrile (level 5), then use it
92. Veggie - Purchase a basket from Karen and place a shippable in it
93. Venus - Purchase an item from Karens store for a total of 10 days
94. Violetto - Use the Hot Springs by the Circus 200 times for at least 1 hour at a time. Hot Springs available after Floras blue heart sequence
95. Walter - Water 5,000 pieces of cropland
96. Whitney - Hire the healing team 500 times
97. Woody - Chop 500 sticks
98. WooHoo - Have a total of 20 chickens and ducks on farm. Needed is 5 bird sheds
99. Wooly - Ship 300 total of milk, wool, and eggs
100. Yacht - Have Gotz build you a Duck Pond and go fishing it
101. Zoo - Use touch gloves and brush 500 times

Hidden Battle mode
If you inspect your dog's house at 4:44 in the morning (you pretty much have to wait until 4:40 and keep inspecting until it happens), the Witch Princess will show up, teleport you to the mine site, and set you up to challenge some of the girls you can marry. The battle is played out like old school video games, where you are gives a list of options to battle (attack, defend, dodge, charge, special, escape). If you happen to win all of the rounds, the Witch Princess will congradulate you and give you a diploma and a new title of "Battle Master"(not sure where the title appears, if any)

Easy money
After you get the Legendary Sword from the bottom of the second mine and unlock the Super Field behind the waterfall, go there in the Fall and plant Yams. Because the Waterfall Field speeds up growth by one day and the Yams regrow every two days, there will be a new harvest every day after the initial harvest.

Special children
If you get married to either the Harvest Goddess, Harvest Witch, Princess, or Furen, you may get a special child. This is a child that wears different clothes and looks differently instead of the child you will get by getting married to any other girl.

Change weather
To change the next day's weather, reload the previous day and go to bed. This works best if you save before you go to bed and check the weather the first thing in the morning so you do not loose any work. It may also require a few attempts. You can also avoid a collapsing building or animal death by doing this.

Watering can
To increase the rate at which your watering can powers up, repeatedly fill it up at any water source, such as the pond at your farm. When you have filled it up enough times for your taste, use it once and your experience with it will increase significantly. Even when it is near Mystrile level, each time you fill it will count as one value better then the three to four uses per value it took before. This is easiest if you have a basement, because you can use the watering hole in it to avoid passing time during the day.

Nami
Having trouble marrying Nami? well just give her grape juice every day. By the end of the year you should have her at a red heart! then purpose to her after you have a kitchen.

Secret sprite salesman
Go to the tangerine box where Van sells his stuff and go to the end of it with your character facing you. like this.

The flirty blond is very poular on the game and is pretty easy to get. your competition, Griffen.
Buy a drink at the blue bar every day, give her wine every day and talk to her two times every day.

Celia
Celia is a simple girl with simple needs winning her heart will be pretty easy.
Give her a gift every day and give her a flower or somthing like diamonds that youve found in the mine.

Private Island!
Ok you know about the 1 billion G giltch, so put it to use by buying a private island! On spring 1st if you still have the 1 billion G, Thomas will show up telling you theres a private island with no buyer! and since you have enough money, you can buy it! the island is small but you can build a cottage on it and keep your dog and cat on it. The cottage has no use but its cool to have! if you want a place to get away from it all you can sleep there!

Quick fishing
If you go to you basement and fish in the small watering hole you can get fish and no time will pass by. Note: be careful of stamina and fatigue increase / decrease

Vans coming
Van always comes with goodies anytime there is an 8 or a 3 in the date and then all you got to do is wait for van(the fat guy dressed in red or japanese style who squints when talking) goes up stairs in rubies hotel. He should many god things with him. I got a dvd player and a tv plus videos. He comes with goodies all the time. if anyone has anything on how to get muffies love faster post it.

Hard curry recipes
1. Rainbow curry: curry rice + blue, green, red, yellow, orange, purple and indigo curry (all except black and white curry)
2. Ultimate curry: rainbow curry + black curry + burnt frying pan, pot, oven, N/A, steamer and mixer dish.
3. Finest curry: Same as ultimate curry but instead of black curry, put white curry.

Lumina heart events
1. Black: Romana's Mansion 7:30pm to 8:00pm tell the grandpa that hes wrong
2. Purple: wake up in the morning Own the DVD player, sunny day tell her she can look
3. Blue: Exit Harvest sprite tree 1:00pm to 6:00pm,sunny dayagree
4. Yellow: Romana's mansion,lumina's bedroom 9:00pm to 11:00pm, sunny day tell her okay

Earning 500,000 Gold right away
First you have to unlock all of the Casino Sprites. Next, on the 8th of Spring, unlock the Sprite in charge of the counter. Next, You should earn at least 66,000 medals. After that, exchange the medals for the Red Cloak. For me the Red Cloak is of no use anyway. After exchanging the medals, sell the Cloak to the peddler at the second floor of the Inn. That guy will bargain up to 575,000 Gold.

Instant 3,000 point affection with Muffy
Go to the Blue Bar between 4 and 6 in spring/summer. Talk to her and when she asks you what type of girl you like, pick the top answer. This gives you 3,000 Affection points. It can only be done once.

How to get celias love doing nothing
You all know celia is simple to get but walking back and forth everyday come on we can do better than that. Just when you meet her for a walk(it may take long to get this far but it does work) do the right things and then ten days later go to her house in the morning when no one is there (I promise this will be the last thing you will need to do.) talk to her five times or more but not less and then just walk out bwalk back in put on the affection and you will get 300 affection. Now just go on and do your work you won't need to come back to her house for some time. The 300 will keep going up everyday and you don't need to move a finger.

Double door!
When you buy a cottage for your private island, go there in the winter and enter the cottage, then exit. To the right you should see your door open with purple stuff around it.

Color changing stone
First you need some alexandrite (can be found at the bottom of the first mine)once it's in your bag and you can see it go outside. The alexandrite should have been red in the mine but then turned green when you go outside.

Make Mine Monsters Missing
On any level in the mines, save your game and turn off the DS, then restart it and load your data. You will load onto the floor you saved on, but all monsters will be GONE. Please note, if you progress any further in the mine, all new monsters will sometimes be INVISIBLE, but are still there (the mines reset after you leave, so it isn't permanent). This is really useful when getting to deep floors and being able to get tons of items hassle free.

1 billion G glitch
Anytime during winter hire the fishing team to fish at the beach for you, check your money every day to watch it rise. At the end of there shift for the last day check your cash. You should have 1 billion G!

One Billion Doller Glitch
You Have to hire the fishing team at the beach then go right there with your teleport stone you get from the casino.. and then cast your rod in there for 2 real seconds then go about your work then in the morning you will have 10000000000G nad you cant do it a gan and get a billion doller glitch unless you earn more without spending any.





Yummy Pie For Muffy
You will need:
A kitchen (Upgrade over the telophone)
An oven (Buy it from the buying channel I think someone called Pluto or Neptune...I'm not sure...but he sells things for kitchens and bedrooms and stuff)
One apple (Grow in Autumn)
One egg (Get from chickens in a bird shed)
Butter (Use milk in a mixer to get butter)
Flour (Purchase from Supermarket over phone)

What to do:
Put the apple, egg, butter and flour into the oven and it SHOULD come up with apple pie.
Wear the love bangle and wait for a sunny day.
Follow Muffy into the spring and give her the pie.
She should say thank you and then you'll have 500-800 love points added!

How to get Muffy's love
To gain a black heart, you must: Go to the blue bar between 3pm till 5pm
Muffy will ask you a lot of things, and then she will ask you what type of girls you like, answer 'cheerful and pretty'

To gain a purple heart, you must: Go to the beach on a rainy day which isn't a Weednesday and you will find her stomping around fuming. Her parents have arranged a marriage for her and she doesn't want to go on the date. Advice her to go, but turn him down.

To gain a blue heart, you must: Go to the blue bar between 6pm - 8pm NOT WEDNESDAY and when she is making up her own drink, advice her to use MILK.

To gain a yellow heart, you must: Exit your farmhouse 9am - 12pm in ths Summer on a sunny day, she will be there and she will ask you and speak to you.

Her birthday is Summer 5.

Her fav items are: Apple Pie, Jewelry (From digging sites) Spring Flowers, Large Fish and Wine





Celia
Is the easiest girl to get.

Black Heart Event

Celia is happily cleaning the dishes then you come in. She gets a shock and accidently drops one of vesta's favourite dishes! Then vesta comes in and thinks you both look a little sad. She will ask you what wrong Then you say "Tell the Truth"

Purple Heart Event
>> Walk from Main Path to Goddess Pond
>>3:40 pm to 6:00 pm, not Monday

While walking up the path Celia will catch up to you. She noticed that you were heading to the pond and she wants to go with you. Celia asks if you would join her so respond with "go with her".

At the pond Celia asks if you knew that a legendary Goddess lived in the pond. She thinks the story is strange but you disagree. She smiles because she's not the only one who believes the legend. When she was younger she was sickly, so she could never go out and play with the other kids. When she grew up she got better. Sometimes she begins to feel weak again and wonders if she's really getting better. Celia comes to the pond to wish for the Goddess to help her heal faster. You don't think her wish is childish at all, and Celia thanks you before going back home.

Blue Heart Event
>> Dr.Hardy's clinic
>> 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, rainy day, not Winter

Celia is at the clinic getting a checkup. Hardy tells her that she's getting better because the environment in the valley is good for her health. He also mentions she's recently become quite pretty. Celia blushes and tells him he's just saying so but thanks him none the less. Hardy asks her if there are any boys that she likes, which causes her to blush again.

You will then walk into the Clinic. Hardy explains he was just doing an exam. Celia brushes it off and lets you know there's nothing to worry about. Hardy notices her face has turned red and asks if she's okay. He then realizes that she's blushing because you're there and asks if you have a girlfriend. Tell Hardy that you're single ("no"). Hardy for some reason thinks that's good, but Celia gets embarrassed and tells him she's going home. As she leaves she blushes at you again.

Yellow Heart

Griffin welcomes you to his establishment and mixes you up a drink. Celia arrives to deliver some vegetables and hands them over to Griffin. He thanks her for the delivery and takes them out back.

Celia mentions that you two are the only ones there and asks if you have anything interesting to say. Tell her all about the farm life (not about the other girls!) and she will be impressed. Celia has to return to her own farm but she wants to hear more about your own farm again some day.
