Hard mode
Hard mode has the spheres going in two different directions. This makes it a little bit easier in the beginning because you can get bigger chain. When marbles are being destroyed on one side, expand the chain by shooting a marble into the other side. It is easy to get a twelve or better chain this way. The strategy mainly for Hard mode in the beginning is just to group pairs of at least two red, at least two blue, at least two red, then destroy a set in the middle of this arrangement in each path.

Detonator
In Normal Play in the Training, Normal, Hard, or Special, you should have enough time to count the red and blue dots. This is when you usually get the first detonator. Always destroy the one with the least dots. Also when there are the following colors: red, blue, yellow, light blue, and purple, it is typically good to destroy light blue. This works 80% of the time.

Special mode
Special Mode has smaller marbles because there is an extra circle to the spiral. It has expanded, so the detonator also gets a benefit from this. If you are lucky enough to eliminate most of the yellows before you get the first detonator so that only red and blue remain, you will get a killer chain once the detonator is used.

Quest Detonators
In the actual quest levels that have detonators, they do not appear in the slot where you can launch marbles. They are actually in the arrangement of incoming marbles. This makes it more convenient actually because you can use it at that minute, or hold off its usage for when you really need it. In the Normal Play, you must use one when you get one. They work the same way as far as the destruction of marbles is concerned.

Switcher
These devices usually lead to two or more different paths. When the switcher is set one way, the marbles have to flow in the path that it leads to, but the switcher can change its direction, pushing the marbles in a different direction than before. It only appears in Quest mode.

Slot
When you launch a marble into one of these holes, the slot spins. If three of the same icon match up, that icon appears in the slot. It can be a silver, gold, or other color coin. A silver coin gives you 5,000 points. A gold coin gives you 10,000 points. The other coin gives you 50,000 points. It can also be a timer that sends marbles back a little bit (very convenient), or a detonator. Then again, there is always the chance that you will not get anything. It only appears in Quest mode.

Black Hole
The marble that goes into a Black Hole will be sucked up and disappear. During this time, you cannot launch any other marbles until the marble sent into the Black Hole is gone. It takes awhile; you must be patient. Do not go in these when you are seconds from losing. It only appears in Quest mode.

Graviton
This is something that alters the gravity of the marble passing by it or directly over it and may slightly push it into a different direction. They may be frustrating when you are trying to launch a marble that will lead to a chain. It only appears in Quest mode.

Line Barrier
A Line Barrier is the same as an Impact Barrier, but it does not move. It disappears and reappears in different spots. It has the same effect as an Impact Barrier. It only appears in Quest mode.

Unlock the Staff Credits game
The option to select the STAFF button on the options menu becomes accessable after playing through & beating every stage in Quest mode. It doesn't matter if you score a gold, silver, or bronze metal on the stages. All you have to do is manage to beat them all. After completing the final boss in Quest mode, the game will make you play the Staff game once, then once it's done, you'll be able to accesss it and re-play it anytime you want.

To end Mystery Time after only a matter of minutes or hours, read through the following steps : Make sure you have another character enrolled as well as your main one. DO NOT let the new character progress as far as gaining access to the Mystery Key. When you activate Mystery Time with your main character and are finished with whatever it is that you are doing, quit your game legitimately (Save and return to the title screen) and load up the secondary character. End the game from this character again (legitimately) and when you load up your main character you should find that Mystery Time has ended and you can, of course, progress on to solve your Mystery etc immediately instead of having to wait 24 hours! I've used this successfully several times and can attest to the fact that so far I have had no negative side effects while exploiting this glitch. This will also mean that you so not need to Time Travel with your DS clock/calender too!

Glissina Cave secret
On Nova, in the Spiny Mole's tunnel, there is a small "X" on the map when you first enter the tunnel. On the first visit, this has no significance. However, if you return to the "X" after visiting Shadra for the first time, the "X" will turn into a hole that leads to Glissina Cave. In Glissina Cave, you must fight your way through many fights to the final floor. Once there you get an item that helps you defeat Master Macadameus. Note: The monsters in Glissina Cave can be tougher than the final Boss. Proceed with caution. Also, you cannot enter Glissina Cave if you have already defeated Shadra's first form.

Easy experience
Each time you level up, 100 experience points are needed. This is helpful because if you are very weak (at a low level) you will earn a lot more experience points. Note: Try training somewhere you think is best for your level. If your level is high, try Capsicum Caverns on Razen, the fire planet. If you are at a low level try the woods on Gren, the wood planet. Keep in mind that the maximum level is 99.

Items and experience
In order to gain experience after battle, use your stylus to tap the icon of your character. His eyes should now be closed. After defeating enemies, you should see them turn into golden balls. When trying to escape using the microphone, instead of saying "Escape", just blow into the microphone a little bit. The game picks out the "pe" part of "Escape".

Use Boktai Games as Solar Sensors
While the paraSOL weather system may control the climate of the Lunar Knights world, you can directly affect the intensity of Sunlight or Moonlight in the game by slotting one of the three Boktai games into your Nintendo DS's GBA slot.

When you start your game with Boktai slotted, you will be prompted to adjust the Solar Sensor. Afterwards, you will have one of three new items in your Valuables section of the pause menu. "Finding Kaph" secret event
You can trigger this after getting Sadie or after Roland becomes a master.

2. Head to Mistia next and select the same titled event that is available. Luna, Dia and Sadie will be forced in a battle afterwards.

2.Go to Stiles Ruins for a one on one battle against Matias' soul.
This battle will prove difficult since Matias can sometimes take two immediate turns. To avoid wasting MP and turn to restore your health, having lapis seeds like Reduce Damage and/or Vigor can really help a lot. Unleash your most powerful attacks, like the Fracture Slash behind him or to his sides. You can't use any FD at the moment so use your DP to increase the power of your attacks. Once Matias' HP drops between 900-1500, the battle will end.



"Hardboiled Hotsprings" hidden event
Hot Spring Alpha
1.Go to Hemill Water Ruin to watch a scene with Yugo and Cecilia
2.Head to the Bullhem Volcano in the region and select the option to terminate the kopins.

Hardboiled Hot Springs
Be careful of the green kopin since its attacks are pretty devastating. The fire kopins themselves tend to use area-damage spells so be aware of that. Just the kopins off and you'll be thrown in another battle against them.
Your team will be deployed in two different positions in the next area. The kopins aren't that hard to kill at all so just go all out if you want to.
After the battle, select talk to everyone and you'll have an intermission screen. The character you'll choose is the character Roland will take a bath in the hot springs with. Fortunately, you can enter the battle over and over again to view the “hot spring” scenes with any character! Also, since it consists of two battles, the characters you bring along with Roland during the second part will appear in the intermission screen. This is also the only (and amusing chance) for you to view your favorite female characters in their swimsuit.

Luminous Arc Nintendo DS Cheats

Bonus area
When you beat the game watch through the ending/credits and when the word "Fin" pops up hit A and you will be prompted to save. When you save there will now be a star to the right of the file. Reload the file you will start a new game with all your equipment/characters/levels and if you had any blue hearts for characters they will turn back to red. Easy experience

Once you defeat Leonard and get to the scene with the Diva of the Twilight threatening to kill the Wind Sage, keep the wand. You will become evil Isaac under Diva's control and can roam around to get the lost spells for evil and let Diva win. However, if you give up the wand she goes away leaving your friends alive, letting you continue. If you follow the pointers, you will find another wand. Either way, Diva of the Twilight will still make her new castle.

Serious Survival Mode
To unlock Serious Survival Mode, where you try to survive as long as possible without a partner, beat the game in regular survival mode.

The ruins: Hidden area
If you look closely on the walls of the ruins, you will notice what appear to be old style fire pits. Light these with your torch. The wall will open up and you will gain access to a new room. One way will be a new exit to the swamplands. Two openings will lead you to rooms that have huge pedestals that must be lit with your torch. You must do these in the order as they appear one after another. They will lead you all over the island.

Getting items
Repeatedly press A outside and you will get spices every time. If you want to get salt or shells you must go to the beach.

Another house location
Go far in the jungle to find a grassy place. You can make another house there.

Unlimited Spices
This cheat allows you to use a spice even if you don't have it. To do this you need at least one type of spice. On the spice selection screen use the D-Pad and highlight the spice you need that you're out of. Then using the stylus/touch screen highlight a spice you do have, then press A.If done correctly the spice you want to use that your out of will go from 0 to -1 and appear in the box of spices being used on the top screen.

Food dupe trick
When playing as the Hero: When you give the female character a food item to cook, make sure the item you want to dupe is in the last slot. Give her the item and with the stylus continue to press the item immediately next to it repeatedly. It will give the item as long as you tap it. If you open her inventory after the trick is done (by pressing X) it will undo the trick.

Conserve Energy
To conserve energy just tap B repetitively and you will run in small bursts, moving faster than walking and without using up as much energy as outright running.

Effortless Mountain Climb
Locate and take at least two of the yellow mushrooms at the start of the mountain pass before attempting to scale the peak. These mushrooms bestow infinite strength for a short while and pretty much allows your character to navigate the mountain quickly.

Radio Escape Ending
If you tune to frequency 6.75 you can contact the Ocean Disaster Rescue Team. When asked what island you two love birds are on, choose the first answer (Kauia) and a rescue boat will appear up to four days later.

Find Hidden Items On Beach
Have one character's backpack full with items you are willing to throw away. The pack thus filled, walk around on the beach and hit the A button to search the ground. If there is no hidden item, the character will just bend down and search the ground, but if there is an item, the character will say something about the knapsack being full. When this happens, go into your backpack and get rid of an item, exit the backpack menu, and then tap the screen to dig in the sand. You'll find hidden items easily using this method.

Transmission Code
To escape the island using the transmitter, tune into the frequency 024.21.

Trap Dupe Glitch
First, begin this duping glitch by preparing a trap of choice (large traps, small traps, etc.) in your inventory. When you're ready to place the trap, open your inventory with the X button and rapidly press A immediately after pressing X. (You don't have to mash the A button, but this is just to ensure the trick works for you until you work out the timing for yourself.) Before the inventory screen pops up you should notice the hero bend over to check the ground. Select the desired trap from your inventory and 'use' it. (Using the A button or the stylus doesn't matter.) If you do this properly, your hero should be bent over and you should hear the the 'picking-up' sound. When you check your inventory, the trap will be in the last slot, as if you just picked up an item. At first glance, it will look like a trap has not been placed. Leave the area and come back, a trap will have been placed where you used it. Continue doing this trick as many times as you want to duplicate traps.

Complete the game. Load your cleared saved game file. Go to Brookwood Camp. Use a skull on top of a grave to display a yellow dot in the world map. There will be no other dots leading to it.
